CHILD SAFETY POLICY

At Bridges of Faith, we have a strict Child Safety Policy to ensure the safety and well-being of minors (those under the age of 18) within our community. Please note that minors under the age of 13 are not permitted to join Bridges of Faith. 

Violations of our Child Safety Policy are enforced under RULE 4E of the Bridges of Faith Community Guidelines, which is classified a severe offense. Depending on the circumstance, violations of this policy may result in a permanent ban along with a report to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. 

The guidelines herein apply regardless of an individual's knowledge of whether or not a person is a minor.

1. All members must be at least 13 years old to have a Discord account and be part of the server. Members of the Staff Team must be 15 years or older, and members must be 18+ to serve on the Board of Directors. Extensive reports related to NSFW content should be handled by an adult staff member.

2. Any form of child sexual abuse material, whether real or animated, will result in a permanent ban and an immediate report to the appropriate authorities.

3. Sexual innuendo, comments, or jokes about, around, or directed toward minors are strictly prohibited. While innuendo is a moderate offense under RULE 3A, any instance involving minors will be punished more severely, regardless of whether the individual's age was known.

4. Online dating involving underage teens is strictly prohibited on this server and in private messages between members. Any sexual or romantic relationships originating from this server, where one or both parties are minors, will result in the permanent banning of both individuals.

5. Asking for, discussing, hinting at, or exchanging explicit or sexual content with a minor, even if both parties are minors, will lead to a permanent ban and a report to authorities.

6. Minors who share personal or sensitive information will be subject to stricter moderation, and sharing the personal or sensitive information of another minor (doxing) will result in a permanent ban and an immediate report to law enforcement.

7. Users under the age of 18 are prohibited from sharing photos of themselves, linking personal social media accounts, or revealing their full names. Users under the age of 16 are not permitted to use their cameras in voice chats.

8. Any promotion, tolerance, or normalization of child abuse, including ideologies that minimize the severity of child exploitation or promote terms like "minor attracted persons" (MAPs), will result in a permanent ban and a potential report to the authorities.

9. Violations of rules that involve minors will be met with harsher penalties and stricter enforcement.

10. Any failure to report violations of this policy that you witness will result in disciplinary action.
